Adult awareness and knowledge of emerging technologies is one of the most important protections for youth today. The internet is a privilege, NOT a right. Establishing guidelines in the home and other settings is the first step in building the skills and awareness for responsible use.  It will also increase their enjoyment and reduce the risks associated with new technologies.
